Camissa Cottage is a beautiful, modern wood cabin that sleeps 6 people. It has a wide deck that overlooks the Drakenstein mountains, whose magnificent proportions are reflected in the two dams next to the cottage. A hot tub is placed in the stone boma next to the cabin for you to enjoy a warm bath while taking in the view.

There are three bedrooms served by two bathrooms all appointed with the highest quality linen to enhance your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area will comfortably accommodate you and your guests. There is a large outdoor braai area surrounded by dry-stone walls next to the cottage.

Things to do

Guests can enjoy scenic hikes, wild swimming, mountain biking and a leisurely stroll to breakfast or a sunset wine tasting. The cabin has an expansive deck with wooden armchairs and hanging reading chairs for you to relax in. There is a beautifully landscaped dry stone walled braai area and a wood-fired hot tub to soak in while you enjoy the majestic natural surroundings.

Dine Locally

Some of South Africa’s finest restaurants are found in Stellenbosch, a few minutes drive from the farm. Closer to home, the Bartinney tasting shed is an easy 1.5 km stroll along the contour path for charcuterie and some of the Cape finest wines. Café pavé does a wonderful easy-going breakfast.

Drink locally

Sample award-winning local wines at Bartinney, Camberley and Oldenberg wine estates, each only a short walk through the beautiful Banhoek valley.
